Hospitality & FF&E Experts Lang & Schwander Celebrate 15 Years of Business Catering to the Hotel Market

Hospitality firm Lang & Schwander Hotel Interiors, a Swiss-American company specializing in hotel FF&E and Design, is celebrating their 15-year anniversary.

Principals and longtime business partners Sebastian Lang and Marcus Schwander both graduated from the prestigious Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in Switzerland, where their love of hospitality and travel grew into a career path which would ultimately lead them to start their own firm servicing the hotel industry.

Throughout these 15 years, the company’s service offering has grown from a small trading operation headquartered in Miami, to a full-service FF&E firm providing end to end and a la carte services to some of the most sophisticated ownership groups and hotel owners in the US, Caribbean, and Latin America.

Originally solely focusing on FF&E manufacturing and contract volume production, their operation now also provides full Interior Designs for branded and boutique hotels alike, as well as installation of their manufactured product.

Principal and co-founder Marcus Schwander said, “*The evolution of L&S has truly been an organic one. In the early years, I remember receiving the same piece of advice from a few business owners (which we of course didn’t initially take) that the magic to success was focus. Overly ambitious, Sebastian & I wanted to do it all and do it all right away. And so, we often made the mistake of diversifying too early.

In time we managed to develop our focus and the road opened before us. We were fortunate and grateful to find clients which believed in our vision and were willing to give us a chance. Little by little, we progressed from 20 room hotels to 100 room independent hotels and then 200+ key affiliated properties. In 15 years, we have worked on more than 60 projects and furnished 5000+ hotel rooms. We have the privilege of working with some of the best clients in the industry and participating in exciting projects around the globe. Their team is as international as the hotel industry itself, with over 70 employees spread across their Miami headquarters and satellite offices in Venezuela and Colombia, with remote employees also located in Spain.
